"I am Titus Mutwiri, the Founding Director of Maasailad Baseball Academy in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado, Kenya, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of baseball in the expansive Maasailand region. Maasailand is a semi-arid area with high levels of poverty and a beautiful conservative culture. Exposing these kids, who are from humble backgrounds to a non-conventional sport of Baseball with the aim of developing the values of Discipline, Respect, and Justice is a fulfilling venture."

Our needs include but are not limited to: (some are recurrent)

1. Baseball equipment (Bats, gloves, catcher's gear, mint e.t.c.)
2. Baseball uniform and cleats
3. We run a feeding program - each day of practice approximately 70 kids eat at the academy when schools are on recess and 50 kids when schools are on.
4. Transport cost to tournaments and competitions. We are looking towards a used/ second hand 33 seater minibus for use in transport at approx. USD 10,000
5. We run mentorship workshops to help instill values of discipline, respect, and justice.
